The problem i'm having i just can't seem to be heard singing softly anymore with a full behind on stage, although thats the tone of voice i want to project.When i start to raise my own levels i'm really not enjoying my vocal sound, its whining and piercing, not very soulful at all.I'm possibly thinking the problem may be that i require lots of monitoring on stage and so the FOH levels go down along with the gain to stop feedback - possibly i've answered my own question here and need to get some in-ear monitors so FOH gets as much boost as possible.
I'm a singer and pianist and have been performing Live for a number of years as a soloist and Piano/singer.However recently as I now have a full band behind me we're starting to rock things up quite a bit. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for this to be used with Live, or maybe there's another piece of equipment i should be looking at or maybe a technique thing.
